Itinerary
Visit the old town through its lively squares, its narrow streets, the old basilicas and the majestic Cathedral, its elegant shops, up to the medieval fortifications and the great Porta Torre, a historic gateway to the city.
We will then start on the lakeside towards the funicular;
Ascent to Brunate.
Walk to a privileged vantage point at about 750 meters high, for a look from the city on the hills surrounding the Alps; then, always on foot, you reach the Voltiano lighthouse, at 990 meters s.l.m;
lunch or return on foot until Torno (two hours of walking, mostly downhill);
Arrival in the little square of Torno, by the lake;
Boat for Como;
end of the visit.
